Successfully avoided any revealing coverage of this movie – about to watch the last cinema screening of the day. Apparently the teaser after the end credits is worth staying for – looking forward to it.

Jini’s Surgery
Jini had a De Quarvaine’s release surgery on Tuesday. The surgery went really well and she is recovering at home. She’s recovering well and is putting up with the obvious pain quite well.
She has been a little demanding but I have enjoyed looking after her.

Spiderman 3 – Wait for DVD
Jini and I went to Crown Casino Gold Class cinemas last night to watch Spiderman 3. Having now seen the movie I wish I’d kept the Gold Class tickets for one of the movies that was previewed – Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At Worlds End.
I’m not sure what happened but I felt like I ended up watching a chick-flick that had a bit of action (and I don’t mean chick-flick with action like the Charlies Angels movies). The recurring actors looked old and tired (Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco) – the spark and intensity from the previous movies was missing. Even the villain’s in this movie felt slow and boring.
The movie seemed dominated with the merry-go-round relationship between Peter Parker, Mary Jane and Harry Osborn, along with character setup for Sandman and Venom. Not what I was expecting from a Spiderman movie.
